Something that really intrigued me about making a Neocities website was the prospect of making a blog. It sounded like a really cool way to express myself, or at least just write to the void about my interests. However - now that I've made the website and set up the blog stuff - I have come to realise that I don't really have anything to write about. Like... there are no thoughts there. Despite this, I have this odd urge to write.

Hopefully, I will figure out what to write about. One thing that has been helping a bit is checking out other people's blog sections on their Neocities websites. It's interesting to read what people are interested about and what they choose to write about. Perhaps, that will give me some ideas.

Part of me just wants to write about my interests... like, write whole blog posts about my favourite characters in Parks & Recreation, or my favourite Oasis songs and why, or my nearly life-long love for Minecraft. However, it all makes me feel quite vulnerable. I don't usually talk in-depth about my interests with anyone outside of my immediate family (and even then, I try to reel it in a bit), fearing that I'll come off weird or just bore them. However, I do need to realise that this is my website!! I decide what to post, and people can easily just choose not to read it. It's actually brilliant, now that I think about it.

I don't know, though. These are just thoughts that I'm having. Shouting into the void and all that. Hopefully, I can write a better blog post, soon. Cheers!
